About me
Samantha Carpenter is the Concurrent Credit Campus Principal at Virtaul Arkansas. With 19 years of experience as an educator, she has spent the most recent as an administrator at Virtual Arkansas. She has taught on both the higher-ed and secondary level, and courses taught include: Public Speaking, Oral Communication, Basic Communication, Integrated Communication for the Web, English 9, 10, 11, and 12, AP Language and Composition, and Journalism I.
A journalist for nearly a decade before starting her education career, she loves to ask people questions. She truly believes everyone has a story to tell.
Married with three children, Carpenter's twin sons are college graduates working in the tech field, and her daughter will be a freshman in college.
In her spare time, Carpenter enjoys cheering on her daughter at swimming and springboard diving events. She also loves reading, especially historical fiction.
