I am the proud principal of Leverett Elementary School in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where I believe strong relationships, high expectations, and intentional systems can truly change outcomes for kids. I am passionate about creating a school where every student feels seen, valued, supported, and challenged to grow. Leading a diverse, multilingual school community has strengthened my belief that equity, belonging, and meaningful family partnerships are essential to student success.
Over the past four years, I have led school improvement efforts focused on strengthening instruction, building a positive school culture, and creating systems that support both students and staff. During that time, Leverett has ranked in the top 6–10% of schools in Arkansas for student academic growth for three consecutive years, a reflection of our intentional focus on strong core instruction, data-driven decision-making, meaningful intervention, and a relentless belief in what students can achieve. I am equally passionate about cultivating strong teams and know that sustainable school improvement happens when adults are aligned, supported, and working toward a shared vision. Through intentional team development, collaborative PLC structures, clear systems, and a strong focus on relationships and trust, I have worked to strengthen leadership capacity and create a culture where staff feel empowered to grow and lead.
I especially enjoy helping other school leaders take big ideas and turn them into practical systems that make a real difference for students, staff, and families. My work centers around attendance improvement, MTSS, inclusive practices, PLCs, instructional leadership, school culture, and building school communities where people want to show up, grow, and succeed. I enjoy sharing practical strategies, lessons learned, and real examples that other leaders can adapt to meet the unique needs of their own schools and communities.
