Dr. Dayna Lewis is bringing her extensive experience and dedication to early childhood education in her role as the Faulkner County Local Lead Captain. With over 30 years in education, including leadership positions that earned her school National Blue Ribbon distinctions in 2018 and 2024, Dr. Lewis has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. In her Local Lead capacity, she focuses on ensuring that all children in Faulkner County are prepared for success, emphasizing the critical importance of the birth-to-five developmental period.
As part of the Arkansas LEARNS Act, the Local Lead program aims to improve early childhood education by establishing local organizations to coordinate services and support for young children and their families. Dr. Lewis's leadership is instrumental in aligning local efforts with state goals, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing access to quality early childhood programs across Faulkner County.
