2026 AAEA Summer Conference

Dr. Christy Smith is an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Arkansas. Prior to her University appointment, Dr. Smith worked for 28 years as a teacher, building principal and district administrator in Arkansas public schools. Her teaching and research interests involve the intersection between education law, policy, and leadership and how they impact the way principals and superintendents lead schools and districts.
