About me
Little did I know when I retired in 2016 after 28 years as an Arkansas teacher, principal, and LEA supervisor the best job I have ever had was waiting just around the corner. My current role as an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arkansas' Educational Leadership program has enabled me to work at my alma mater and stay connected to K-12 educators across Arkansas and the U.S. I am the faculty advisor for all students in our M.Ed., Ed.S. and both the building- and district-level certificate programs. I teach School Law, Special Education Law, Advanced Legal Issues in Education, Principalship, Effective Leadership and supervise principal and superintendent interns. How fortunate I am to work with a team of nationally and internationally recognized educational scholars and practitioners as well as the cooperatives and public school teachers and administrators across Arkansas! I have the best job ever!
