About me
Dr. Marcia Smith, the former Deputy Superintendent for Springdale Schools, is stepping into a new role as a professor of practice at the University of Arkansas. She earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Arkansas, a Specialist degree in Educational Administration, a Master's degree in Curriculum, a building-level administrator license, and a Bachelor of Science degree in math education. Dr. Smith is on the AACIA board of directors and was named the AACIA Administrator of the Year in 2020. She is also involved in numerous state and local organizations.
