About me
Rachel Horn serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Batesville School District, where she also leads the district's Federal Programs and Career and Technical Education (CTE) initiatives. With a career spanning classroom teaching to state-level leadership, Rachel brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She previously directed a federally funded grant with the Arkansas Public School Resource Center and Crowley’s Ridge Educational Service Cooperative and served as the Director of Curriculum and Assessment for the Arkansas Department of Education. Her foundational experience also includes serving as a K-12 administrator, District Test Coordinator, and secondary mathematics teacher. Passionate about supporting diverse stakeholders and nurturing the needs of the whole child, Rachel holds a B.B.A. in Marketing (UA Little Rock), an M.A. in Teaching (UCA), an M.S. in Educational Leadership (Arkansas State), and an Education Specialist degree in Superintendency from Harding University.
